In collaboration with Great Lakes Brewing Co., Scion has featured all of Great Lakes’ year round offerings and several
limited release seasonals and rare brews. Events have included food pairings and Midwest comfort foods. Scion loves
to celebrate Cleveland's favorite brewery! A representative from Great Lakes was in attendance to talk about this “Best
in the Midwest” craft brewery and to give away free stuff!

Battle of the Brews: Allagash vs. Uinta

Allagash Brewing Co. squared off against Uinta Brewing Co. in a friendly beer tasting event! At this popular event, each
brewery poured multiple rare offerings in addition to their flagship beers. Rob Tod, owner of Allagash, and Will Hamill
and Steve Kuftinec, owners of Uinta, represented their respective breweries.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Beer Dinners
Scion presented five course beer dinners paired with great beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. At these events,
Sierra Nevada featured beers from their limited release 30th Anniversary series and from the highly anticipated Ovila
Project of abbey ales. A representative from Sierra Nevada provided background on the beers, taught "beer prayers,"
and shared stories of the brewing company.

Bootlegger's Beer Dinner
This first-of-its-kind beer dinner was co-hosted by DCBEER.COM and Scion Restaurant. The dinner featured beers not
available within the D.C. metro market and were hand-picked for their rarity and unique qualities. This five course
dinner offered area craft beer lovers a taste of several outstanding out-of-market beers, paired with outstanding Scion
food offerings.

Scion and DCBEER.com hope to make this truly unique event an annual celebration.

In collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery, Scion featured 8 different Brooklyn beers over the course of two seatings. Each
seating was $30/person and included tasting portions of each beer along with a food pairing. A representative from
Brooklyn Brewery was in attendance to describe the beers and give away Brooklyn Brewery merchandise.
